Donna Schrader is not my friend. She is not family. I ordered Hunter Douglas window coverings many years ago and just looked on line and found her business and called her to pick out window coverings for my kitchen. I called her again to pick window coverings for my living room. She first helped me with the details and if asked she gave me her opinion. She measured with perfect accuracy. She is very professional, gave me accurate time lines and was prompt to come when she said she would. She was a breath of fresh air. When we had any complications she would take care of every detail. My windows covering are just perfect and just what I wanted. Thank you Donna for being a great example to all of us.

That company would not do as I asked, but what they wanted. The end result was a nightmare. We recently moved into a home that had nearly floor to ceiling windows across the entire back and front of the house, so we quickly set appointments with a few groups to get quotes for window coverings. Donna, with Ambiance Window Coverings, happened to be our first meeting, and once I met her I canceled the other appointments. She showed up on time, listened to what I wanted, was very well-informed about her products & options, and within minutes had recommended the perfect solution for our home. I ordered our back window coverings (the designer roller shades) from her on the spot, and even with the Covid delays with manufacturing, they were installed within a couple of weeks. At that point we also decided to move forward with the front windows, and for those went with the wood shutters. Both treatments are made by Hunter Douglas, with a great warranty should we need it, and have perfected our home to make it ours. It’s bright and open during the day, and cozy and private if we want or at night. Aside from beautiful, very high quality products, Donna and her two installers were incredible to work with. I can’t recommend this business enough; we were pleased from start to finish, and with every detail in between. I wish all home update projects were this easy!

Wonderful! Ambiance Window Coverings changed to total look of my kitchen and living room. I worked with Donna for Custom draperies and cornices in both rooms. We had a house fire..needed all new window coverings..Even without the flooring in, Donna knew in 5 minutes by looking at the woodwork and paint, exactly what I wanted...we are beyond satisfied...they are BEAUTIFUL..installation fast and professional...Highly recommend!!!!

There are too many companies in today's world that compares to Ambiance Window Coverings. Donna and her installers or the absolute best . Nothing could be simpler, make an appointment, she will help you decide what is right for you and your windows and in a short order they will be installed. No long waiting no calling and calling. From now on if there's anything I need at all she is on speed dial. You will not have any regrets with this company!!!

This review is written 1.5 yrs after the service. When building our new home my wife tasked me with getting window blinds installed. She wanted me to get a quote from Budget Blinds based on a recommendation of a co-worker. I called Budget Blinds a total of 5 times over the course of 1 month and never got to speak to a person. I always got an answering machine. I have a pet-peeve when it comes to having to play a cat-mouse game when trying to give someone business. Tip to Budget Blinds, hire someone to answer phones or hire more people. Out of frustration I decided to do a quick Google Maps search and gave Ambiance Window Covers a call. First call, I was able to speak with Donna (I think? Sorry, its been over a year). Donna was driving to a job site when i called her and she pulled over to get my information. During her consultation visit she actually talked me out of getting expensive curtain blinds we "thought" we wanted and recommended some Hunter Douglas blinds. She scheduled the installation on the same day as our move in, which was great. We had concerns about leaving all of our furniture/electronics in a home without window covering.Donna and her install guy did the job in about 1-2 hours with great results. We love our window blinds. I really appreciated Donna's professionalism but most of all I appreciated the price. My wife's co-worker who used Budget Blinds had less/smaller windows then our home but we ended up playing less.My only complaint would be the installation of the covers that go over the pulley system on our door side window blinds. When someone opens the door too wide the left cover falls off all the time and it's scratching the paint on our door. I am sure it will eventually break from the repeated hits to the ground.I will likely contact Donna again to do 3 other windows in our home. Highly recommend Ambiance Window Coverings!UPDATE: 09/30/16After posting my original review I was contact by Donna because of the issue with our front door cover falling off. I didn't think it was a big issue and didn't even think it was Ambiance Window Coverings fault but Donna offered to fix the problem for free. That was definitely unexpected and very appreciated!

We couldn't have had a better experience, from making selections to a timely and smooth installation. Donna is wonderful to work with!! As first time home owners selecting window coverings for the entire house was a daunting task. Donna took away the stress with her knowledge and recommendations. I was very hesitant about ruining the look of our windows with poor coverings; Donna delivered with a beautiful, streamlined, clean look that fits the tone of the home and doesn't take away from anything. She even made an extra trip out to the house for my husband to look at the selections and for me to get a second look before ordering. She also put up temporary blinds on yet another trip back. She went the extra mile to put us at ease and make sure we were confident in our selections. Her installer was great, which is very important because if the installation is not done correctly it doesn't matter how nice the window coverings are and I've heard of some horrible installation experiences. Donna made sure she was there during installation to oversee all the little details I wouldn't have thought of. Weeks after installing I had some additional questions which Donna was happy to answer.
